1. Using Wu Wei

By using Wu Wei, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you browse, learn and play.

You must be legally able to accept these terms and meet the age and consent requirements that apply where you live. If you are below the age of legal majority, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these terms where their permission is required. Parental permission alone does not replace any legally required privacy consent.

2. Your account

Provide accurate account information, choose an appropriate player handle and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Do not share credentials, impersonate another person or access someone else's account without permission.

Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Third-party sign-in services are also governed by their own terms. Signing out or clearing browser storage does not delete your cloud account.

3. Free play and optional contributions

Bot games, solo scenarios, tutorials and learning resources are open without an account. A free account is required to invite players and save games. Guest games stay in the current tab and are not saved. Contributions do not unlock game features.

Contributions are optional, one-time payments that support website development and work toward producing the physical Second Edition. They are not subscriptions, preorders or purchases of a physical game. They do not promise a physical copy, a release date or additional game access. Review the selected amount, currency and payment details at checkout. You must be authorized to use the payment method.

Existing Member Access purchase records are preserved. Contact support about payment errors, earlier purchases or refund requests. Eligibility depends on the offer made at purchase and applicable law; these terms do not remove statutory cancellation, refund or consumer rights. A contribution refund or dispute does not change access to free game features or an earlier purchase.

Buying the physical board game is a separate transaction through the linked shop. A contribution does not include a physical copy.

4. Fair play and acceptable use

Help keep Wu Wei welcoming and reliable. You must not:

Harass, threaten, discriminate against or impersonate other people, or use abusive names or content.
Submit unlawful material, another person's private information without permission, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
Exploit errors, bypass access controls, manipulate shared game data, interfere with servers or disrupt other players' games.
Use unauthorized automation or scraping that harms the service, compromises security or interferes with fair online play. Built-in bots and supported game tools remain available as designed.
Sell account access, misuse invitation codes or use the app for unlawful activity.

5. Online games and saved progress

Hosts control admission to their rooms, and admitted players or observers can see the information needed to participate. Share invitation codes thoughtfully and avoid using private information in room names or player handles.

Games may be interrupted by connectivity, browser or service failures. Local progress depends on your device and browser storage; cloud saves and game reviews are subject to storage and retention limits. Keep your own copies of anything important where export is available. We cannot guarantee that every game, record or local preference can be recovered.

Automated opponents and training tools are game features. Their choices and explanations may contain errors and are not a guarantee of any particular outcome.

6. Game content and your contributions

Wu Wei's software, game presentation, artwork, branding and written materials are owned by Gray Wolf Games, LLC or their respective licensors and contributors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service as intended, subject to these terms. No ownership is transferred.

Do not reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit protected materials without permission, except as allowed by law. Reviews, photographs, videos and other third-party materials retain their respective owners' rights.

You retain rights you hold in content you submit. You grant us permission to store, reproduce and display it as reasonably necessary to operate the service, provide support, investigate reports and maintain shared game records. You must have the rights needed to submit it. You may voluntarily send ideas and suggestions; we may use them to improve Wu Wei without an obligation to implement them or pay compensation. Do not submit confidential ideas expecting secrecy.

7. Third-party services

Payments, sign-in providers, embedded videos, social platforms and the physical-game shop may be operated by third parties. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to their services. Links do not make Gray Wolf Games responsible for third-party content or availability.

8. Changes and account restrictions

We may update the app, correct errors, maintain systems or change features. We may restrict access or remove submitted content when reasonably necessary to address a breach of these terms, protect users or the service, comply with law, or investigate abuse. Where appropriate and legally required, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

You can stop using the app at any time and contact support to request account closure. Any continuing obligations concerning purchases, content rights, disputes or required records remain subject to these terms and applicable law.

9. Service limitations and your rights

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted access, error-free operation or fitness for a particular purpose. Use reasonable care with your account, device and saved progress.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, limits mandatory consumer guarantees, or prevents you from exercising rights and remedies available under applicable law. The game is entertainment and does not provide professional martial arts, medical or other professional advice.

10. Updates to these terms

We may revise these terms as the service changes. The date above identifies the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through the app or another appropriate channel when required. Changes apply prospectively, subject to applicable law and any notice or consent requirements.

For account, payment, content or other concerns, contact Gray Wolf Games, LLC at the address below. Please include enough information for us to understand the issue, but never email your password or full payment-card details. We will work with you to understand and address the concern. These terms do not require you to waive access to a court or any applicable consumer complaint process.
